Welcome to Owyhee Produce! The West's Best since 1954! About Our Company Our signature label, HONEST OWEN, is included on all of our packaging. This label came from the founder of Owyhee Produce and Froerer Farms, Mr. Owen G. Froerer. After serving his country in the Korean conflict, Owen returned to Eastern Oregon to start farming in 1952. Owen started growing onions with a borrowed tractor and some rented farmland. Through the years his farming operation has grown in acres as well as in family members. This is truly a family owned and operated agribusiness. It has been Owen's dream that the business he started be carried on for generations. The company now has three generations overseeing it's management and daily operations; Owen, his two sons Randy and Craig, his daughter Robin, and grandsons Shay, and Chase. Owen has always conducted business with integrity, where a handshake and his word are worth more than any piece of paper. We are proud to carry on Owen's traditions as we strive to grow, package, and ship the highest quality produce possible. We truly provide produce directly from our family to yours.
